WHY POOL UP

NON-CUSTODIALPayouts go straight to your own wallet — the pool never holds your keys.
FAIR PPLNSWeighted, variable-difficulty splits. You're paid for the work you actually do.
READ THE CODEPlain-text installer, pinned binaries, public dashboard. Nothing hidden.

JOIN IN THREE STEPS

01 GET A KEY

Message the operator on Telegram for a one-time join key, and have your own BTX payout address ready (btx1z…).
No wallet? Create one ↗ — free, choose mainnet.

02 RUN ONE COMMAND

Pick your OS below, paste the command, drop in your key and address when it asks. The installer does the rest.

03 WATCH THE DASHBOARD

Your worker shows up within a minute. Track shares, effort, and your accrued balance any time.

INSTALL

irm https://btxbyronbay.com/dl/byron.ps1 | iex

Opens the Byron menu in PowerShell. Paste your operator key and BTX address when prompted. NVIDIA RTX 3000/4000/5000, no compiling.

verify your download → /dl/SHA256SUMS

WHAT THE INSTALLER DOES

One command, no compiling. It:

It lives in one folder (~/byron). It does not touch your wallet, your node, or your existing setup.

DASHBOARD

The pool dashboard is public — recent blocks, blocks in 24h, effort/luck, pool fee, and a live blocks ticker. Type your own address to see your workers and accrued balance. No login.

[ FEES & PAYOUTS ]
Pool fee1.5%
Reward modelPPLNS — pay-per-last-N-shares (10,000-share window). Your slice of each block = your share of recent work.
Paid inBTX, to your OWN payout address. The pool never holds your keys.
MaturityBlock rewards are spendable after 100 confirmations (~2.5h).
ScheduleWeekly, operator-reviewed. The pool only accrues — it never auto-spends. No minimum payout threshold.
[ SUPPORTED HARDWARE ]
HardwareStatus
NVIDIA RTX 4090 / Ada (4080/4070/4060 Ti)full speed — native, zero config
NVIDIA RTX 5090 / Blackwell (5080/5070)full speed — auto-selects native solver
Other NVIDIA CUDA (3090/Ampere, Hopper)works — not yet performance-tuned by us
Apple Silicon (Metal/MLX)working — installer auto-detects your chip
Linux CPUworks, but not competitive
AMD GPU / Windows-native rigsnot supported yet

Same one-liner for any supported card — the installer picks the right solver.

[ SECURITY & TRUST ]
[ TROUBLESHOOTING ]

Miner slower than expected? You may still have a SOLO miner running alongside the pool miner, splitting the GPU. byron-miner / byron-solve = the pool miner (good). A live-mining-loop or generatetoaddress loop = a solo loop (stop that one). btxd alone is just your node — safe to leave running.

Full stop/uninstall: see the Join page, "How to stop or uninstall".

[ FAQ ]

Q. Do I have to trust you with my coins?

A. No. You mine to your OWN address. The pool accrues what it owes you and pays out in BTX; it never holds your keys.

Q. Will it interfere with my node or solo mining?

A. No. Everything we add lives in one folder and is removed by the leave command.

Q. How do I see live stats?

A. The dashboard is public — pool numbers up top, your balance by address. No login.

Q. What does my GPU actually do?

A. Large matrix multiplications over a prime field — the same class of math used in AI training. BTX's whole premise is "useful" proof-of-work.

Q. How often are blocks found / what will I earn?

A. Depends on total pool hashrate and luck. Earnings track your share of the work; the dashboard shows effort/luck and recent blocks so you can see how it's going.
